On August 31, 2018, BOHECO I employees led by GM Dino Nicolas T. Roxas and Board President Marcial P. Degamo joined the Nationwide Tree Planting Activity at the watershed area upstream of the Janopol Hydro-electric Plant in Mahayag  Norte, Catigbian, Bohol. The 1,500 cacao seedlings were sourced out from the Bohol PENRO and planted at the timber lands in the area. Line clearing in Catigbian, Balilihan, and Corella was conducted after the tree planting activity.
