Today, April 14, 2023, the BOHECO I representatives together with the District 6 representative, Dir. Agripino R. Marimon, Jr. went to the Cultural and Sports Complex of Calape for its 14th leg of the implementation of the caravan.

Dir. Marimon, Jr. in his welcome remarks, apprised the attendees on the latest mortuary assistance given to the deceased members of the cooperative apart from the services provided during the caravan.

One of the highlights of the activity was the reiteration on the lifeline consumers as provided in the Republic Act No. 11552, “an act extending and enhancing the implementation of the lifeline rate, amending for the Purpose, Section 73 of Republic Act No. 9136, otherwise known as the “Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001,” as Amended by Republic Act No. 10150”. For years, BOHECO I have been subsidizing the consumption of its lifeline consumers whose consumption per month is below 17kwh.

The caravan aims to provide easy access on membership and intensify the information and dissemination drive of BOHECO I to its members and consumers.
