Power Interruptions

Please be informed that there will be a scheduled power interruption of NGCP (National Grid Corporation of the Philippines) affecting entire Bohol Province on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 4:00A.M. to 6:00P.M. due to scheduled Annual Preventive Maintenance (APM) on the 138KV Submarine Cable along Maasin-Ubay 138KV line and APM of Carlos P. Garcia Cable Terminal Station and all its associated high voltage equipment.

In view of this, an islanding operation using available Independent Power Producers (IPP’s) in Bohol Island and with limited power supply allocation for BOHECO 1, we expect an abnormal power supply for the entire duration. And in parallel with this interruption, BOHECO1 conducts pole replacement acitivities as part of our Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS) in our Sub-Transmission and Distribution line.

Commercial and Industrial Establishment are advised to use their standby generator during the activity in order to maximize the allocated capacity for BOHECO 1.

Please be informed that there will be a power service interruption on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in some barangays of Tubigon. This is to facilitate the replacement of rotten poles at Centro, Tubigon (near Monina Hotel) and Pooc Oriental to Ubojan, Tubigon (for Tubigon LGU Waterworks).

Affected Areas: Cabulijan, Tinangnan, Centro, Pooc Occidental, Pooc Oriental, Potohan (8:00AM – 12:00NN); Portion of Pooc Oriental, Ubojan, Talenceras and Tan-awan, Tubigon (8AM-4PM)

Please be informed that there will be a power service interruption on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 8:00AM to 4:00PM from Pooc Oriental – Talenceras, Tubigon. This is to facilitate the replacement of rotten poles at Ubojan, Tubigon for Tubigon Waterworks.

Affected Areas: Portion of Pooc Oriental, Ubojan, Talenceras and Tan-awan, Tubigon (Hill Park and Holy Family of Nazareth School)

Please be informed that there will be a scheduled power interruption on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 8:30A.M. to 4:00P.M. This is to facilitate upgrading.

Please be informed that there will be a scheduled power interruption on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 12:01PM to 3:00PM. This is to facilitate load transfer to outdoor feeder protection equipment, correction and maintenance of Power Transfomer.

AFFECTED AREAS: Panglao International Airport; Brgy. Poblacion, Doljo, Looc, Bil-isan and portion of Lourdes, Tangnan, Danao of Panglao; Brgy. Poblacion, Totolan, Mariveles, Tinago, Bingag, Tabalong, Songculan of Dauis.

Please be informed that there will be a scheduled power interruption of NGCP (National Grid Corporation of the Philippines) on Saturday, August 28, 2021, due to tapping Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) under Universal Power Solutions Inc. (UPSI) for the switching operation affecting Carmen Substation.

Affected Areas: Mun. of Carmen, Batuan, Bilar to Canlambong, Dimiao (4AM-5AM and 10AM-11AM); Villarcayo, Carmen – Sagbayan – San Jose, Inabanga – Kang-iras, Catigbian (4AM-5AM and 3PM-3:30PM)
