WHAT: NGCP Scheduled Power Interruption

WHEN: Sunday, May 25, 2025 (6:01 AM – 7:00 AM) & (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) or Earlier

WHERE:  Balilihan, Catigbian, San Isidro, Tubigon, Clarin, Inabanga, Cortes (Patrocinio and Rosario), Corella (Pandol), and Calape (Abucayan, Sampoangon, Sta. Crus, Desamparados, Cabudburan, and Pangangan)

WHY: To facilitate the energization activity of the NGCP Visayas Substation Upgrading Project.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

BOHECO I and NGCP are separate entities. As a distribution utility, BOHECO I delivers electiricity to consumers, while NGCP operates the country’s power transmition network. Our power supply depends entirely on NCGP’s high-voltage tyransmission lines.

Therefore, when interruptions occure on NGCP’s end due to techinical issues, emergency repairs, or force majeudre, our distribution system is affected – a situatjion beyond our control.

WHERE:  Cortes, Loon(Catagbacan Sur, Ubayon, Canhangdon Occ/Or, Sandingan Is., Basac, Badbad, Moto Norte/Sur, Napo, Tiwi, Tan-awan, Catagbacan Norte/Handig, Cantomocad, Bahi, Panangquilon, Pondol, Nueva Vida, Cantaongon, Cansubayon), Antequera(Quinapon-an, Canlaas, Cansibuan), Maribojoc(Candavid), Calape(Tultugan, Liboron, Cabayugan, Camias), & Ortigas PP

WHY: To facilitate the energization activity of the NGCP Visayas Substation Upgrading Project.

WHY: To facilitate pole-line relocation due to covered court construction at Barangay Ubujan, Sandingan, Loon and line maintenance.

WHY: To facilitate the following acitivities:

1. Continue energization activities of 69kV Corella-Catigbian Line (5LI1CRA-CAT), from existing Feeder to new Bay 5-06, part of NGCP Visayas Substation Upgrading Project (VSUPII-Sched VIII) project under P&E.
2. To increase the reliability of the said line in relation to the May12, 2025, National Midterm Election.
