Net Metering: Power Your Home with Savings and Sustainability
Net Metering allows customers to produce their own renewable energy—such as solar power—and export any unused electricity back to the grid. You are charged only for your net consumption, and any excess generation is converted into credits on your bill. Through this program, BOHECO I empowers consumers to reduce energy costs while contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future
What is Net Metering?
Net Metering is a program that allows customers to generate their own renewable energy and connect it to BOHECO I’s Distribution Grid. Under this setup, consumers are billed based on the net amount in pesos, calculated as the difference between the cost of the electricity they consume from the grid and the value of the electricity they export back to it.

Hosting Capacity for BOHECO I Distribution Transformers (kWac)
This table serves as a general reference for the maximum aggregate capacity of renewable energy systems—such as solar PV—that can be connected to single-phase distribution transformers within BOHECO I’s franchise area. These values represent the system’s Hosting Capacity in kilowatts (kWac).

Please note that this guide is preliminary. Final approval depends on BOHECO I’s detailed technical evaluation, including a Distribution Impact Study (DIS), to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient integration of your proposed system into the distribution network.
